Grape Variety: Merlot

Harvest: Late September by hand

Description: The Merlot grape variety is wonderfully flexible, and expresses the climate in which it is grown. The Merlot ripens earlier as it quickly responds to the Tuscan sun. It gives a rich and full-bodied wine. The colour is deep and intense red. The nose is of mature blackberries and vanilla, the mouth is initially round and fruity and ends with a lasting spicy note.
