Taxi service is available at Montevarchi; however, a car is essential for enjoying the many sights and restaurants that stud the Chianti hills. Guests at Le Miccine will appreciate that, during the occasional power outages that occur in Chianti, Le Miccine's gravity-fed system assures that plumbing fixtures continue to provide essential water.
